DIY Magazine

Design & Development

As part of their rebrand in 2014, we collaborated on the redesign of DIY Magazine’s popular website for music news and reviews. With high volumes of traffic to the site, advertising, and a lot of content to display, the performance of the website and a robust user interface were key.

Starting with responsive wireframes we worked with the team to revise the structure of the site so that it would work well on mobile as well as more capable devices and connections. With working prototypes we then defined the visual style and designed the user interface. We also designed a system to load varying sizes of the necessary banner adverts appropriate to the view.
